OUR HISTORY

In 1988, Eric and Vizma Sprott and their daughters, Juliana and Larisa started on a path of philanthropy by establishing The Sprott Foundation as a vehicle for family giving. The Sprott Foundation is a charitable trust which has been very active for more than twenty years as a philanthropic foundation addressing urgent human need, hunger and homelessness.

Eric and Vizma have been presented with the Oakville Mayor’s Awards for Business and the Arts several times. In 2002, the Sprotts received the Outstanding Individual Philanthropists Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Ottawa.
